We have had some strange weather here of late. Last week we had blazing sunshine and I was able to sit for most of the week in my sunny garden admiring all the little shoots that have recently poked their heads up through the soil. Having moved into this house in June last year, the garden is a bit of a surprise at the moment as I missed this time in it last year. There is this fantastic splash of vivid pink showing itself at the bottom of the garden behind the holly tree where I feed the birds.
I have to say, I don’t have a clue what this is – but it is a welcome addition and one that I didn’t know was there.
It is extremely pretty whatever it is!
I have been busy trying to practice with the camera, experimenting with some vintage effects afterwards too.
I just think that is quite lovely.
I will try and take some photos of the shoots poking up in the beds (wildflowers that we planted a few weeks ago) when the sun decides to show himself again. For now it looks like winter is coming back for an unexpected visit for the easter weekend, and with the amount of rain my garden saw yesterday, it is a bit hard to believe that there is a hosepipe ban in place.
