So my big news for today is of our Folksy shop – Saltmarsh and Samphire. “We” are me, mum and Brett (my boyfriend).
I recently moved back home after deciding that the office life really wasn’t for me. I could almost feel myself drying up mentally, creatively and physically. It was not a pleasant feeling in the slightest and I needed to get out as soon as I could. Luckily I was able to move back home (I am incredibly grateful for this, I realise it will not be the same for everyone).
So back to part of my master plan (does anyone else feel the need to add Mwah hahaha to that phrase every time it is said? Just me? Ok…) after leaving work – Folksy! We decided that as two of the three of us are based near the seaside (or very very near it in my case) we should have a coastal theme to our name, and Saltmarsh and Samphire was born.
I am hoping to develop my photography enough to make a success of things. I do hope you enjoy your visit is you have a nosey at our things in the shop. I’m quite pleased with the images I have on there so far. We have a lot more to add over the next couple of weeks. Now to decide if Etsy is the way to go for us too. Any thoughts?
PS – Brett’s blog is worth a look if you would like to just over here – http://www.brettgardnerphotography.blogspot.co.uk
