30DAYSWILD_ID2 lightgreen

I have been taking part in The Wildlife Trust’s annual initiative 30 Days Wild again this year, and blogging over at Saltmarsh and Samphire.  The Wildlife Trusts basically want everyone to do something wild for the 30 days of June, and it has been a lot of fun so far.

It’s been a wonderful excuse to try and fit a little more wildness into my everyday life – even very small things like watching the sunset from the window, or walking down to the quay to see what else is mooching around.

Could you do something wild everyday?  You can find more information about #30dayswild by visiting The Wildlife Trusts site here.

Meanwhile, take a look at the things I have been up to by visiting Saltmarsh and Samphire

30 Days Wild Challenge

30 days wildChallenge time!

I was watching Springwatch the other evening (nothing like it really for de-stressing after a busy day!) and they mentioned a project set up by the Wildlife Trust called 30 Days Wild.  Basically it challenges you to do something wild every day in June.

With suggestions like dance in a downpour, give your favourite tree a cuddle and meditation somewhere wild, it all sounded rather fun, so I am going to join in!

You can find more information on their website, you can download calendars and the booklet with lots of ideas to try out.  This would be perfect for little ones to get more involved in nature too, it is very family friendly.

Can you find the time to try something wild every day in June?  I am sure you will feel all the better for it if you do! I’d love to hear what you have been up to.
